We’re awarding free email marketing service for life to 100 nonprofits!

It's the tenth anniversary of Emma 25, and we're officially accepting applications

Emma 25, the annual program in which Emma gives away free email service for life to small, deserving nonprofits, is back! And it's back in a big way.

This is the tenth year of Emma 25, and we're upping the number of honorees from 25 to 100 because a) it's been an amazing decade and b) we're crazy like that.

Nonprofits: apply today!

If you're a small nonprofit, head to myemma.com/emma25 to see if you qualify, and apply by Monday, December 9th.

Help us spread the word (and fill the map)!

If you're not a nonprofit, help us find the small groups in your community doing great work and share the news about Emma on Twitter and on Facebook.

We want to hear from nonprofits all over, and we've even created a colorful map to help us track applications worldwide.

Emma 25 is just one of the ways Emma gives back, but it holds a special place in staffers' hearts. We're involved at every stage -- from reading applications to selecting honorees to welcoming and educating small nonprofits about their new Emma account and sharing our email marketing expertise.

And the feeling we get from reading notes like the ones below are, well, they're just about as warm and fuzzy as feelings can get.

Meet a few of the 2012 Emma 25 honorees

You can find all of our 2012 honorees here, but here's what a handful of last year's Emma 25 recipients have to say about how Emma has helped their organizations:

As a nonprofit and a new school, we've used Emma to communicate with supporters across the country, parents across the city, and among our own team. The Emma 25 was a real gift, and we were so glad to participate.
-Charlie Friedman, Founder and Head of School, Nashville Classical Charter School

Since being named an Emma 25 recipient last year, the funds we would've previously and happily spent using Emma, we've been able to allocate toward buying an online volunteer management service for our volunteer program. Freeing up those funds was a great savings to our organization, and now I'm actually able to send MORE emails for free than I did when we had a paid account. We're able to tell our story to more volunteers, donors and supporters than ever before! I'm so glad that you all are carrying on this tradition, 'cause it makes a huge difference in the successful day-to-day workings of nonprofits!
-Susan Hoover, Program Relations Manager, Oklahoma Dental Foundation

As the Executive Director of Agape Animal Rescue, I am always trying to find new and creative ways to engage the community and help our dogs find the perfect forever homes. After hearing about the Emma 25 program, I knew we had to apply to try and take our e-campaigns to a new level to accomplish the community reach we strive for. That is exactly what happened after we were awarded the lifetime Emma account! Our adoptions, donations, volunteer interactions and overall visibility have increased after using our Emma account, and we are so appreciative to have been given this opportunity!
-Tanya Willis, Director, Agape Animal Rescue

The WellHouse won an account from Emma last year! We were blessed to be one of THE 25!! The impact we have been able to make has been monumental! We have reached out to more people, had our newsletters forwarded and shared all over the world! The ease of use and the care that Emma puts into their designs is amazing! Thank you Emma for changing our impact in the fight against human trafficking!
-Tajuan McCarty, Executive Director, The WellHouse

I can honestly say that Emma is one of Oak Park River Forest Food Pantry’s new best friend! She’s fun to play with, easy to get along with, makes lots of friends and is a great communicator. In all seriousness, Emma has provided Oak Park River Forest Food Pantry with a fantastic tool to communicate with with our donors and volunteers. We utilize Emma to communicate upcoming events, fundraising initiatives and advocacy information with our donors and volunteers. In addition, we use Emma for our monthly Volunteer Newsletter. The Food Pantry’s volunteers love the new format of the newsletter (using Emma) and we love the versatility it provides. The transition to Emma was relatively easy, and we are continually finding new ways to incorporate Emma into our business plan. Emma’s support team has been nothing short of exceptional when we’ve had a need to contact them.
- Kristi Braun, Community Program Manager, Oak Park River Forest Food Pantry
