(NASHVILLE, TENN — December 21, 2016) - Emma, a provider of best-in-class email marketing software and services, today announced this year’s Emma 25 recipients, which were carefully selected by Emma staff members from a pool of over 300 qualified applicants. Emma 25 is an annual program that grants small nonprofits a free Emma account for life. This year’s recipients include Casita Copan, Community Nashville and Food Finder GA. A complete list of 2016 Emma 25 honorees can be found at myemma.com/emma25/honorees.
Over the past 13 years of the Emma 25 program, Emma has awarded over 450 free accounts to small nonprofits. The free service allows these organizations to leverage the power of email marketing to engage their online audience with fundraising appeals, volunteer opportunities, and more.
"This program gives the Emma staff the chance to learn about a variety of incredible causes,” said Pearl Nichols, engagement specialist and coordinator of the Emma 25 program. “Then, we get to help those causes expand their sphere of influence, raise more money and rally more volunteers. It's such an honor to help the helpers!”
“This free service will allow us to consistently brand our organization and provide up to date information to our supporters. We were incredibly excited to be selected as an honoree and couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity!” said John Empson, vice president at Northern Lights Greyhound Adoption.
Emma 25 honorees receive free Emma services for a lifetime, including: a full-featured Emma account, unlimited emails to up to 5,000 contacts per month, and tools to create and promote email signup forms on their website, social networks and at events. In addition, Emma 25 recipients get unlimited support, account help and onboarding to help them master the fundamentals of email marketing.
“Looking back at 13 years of this program, we’re beyond thrilled to see the huge impact it’s had on the nonprofit community,” said Christina Brady, Emma’s events manager. “It’s a wonderful reflection of our values as a company, and we hope to see it live on for many years to come.”
Nonprofits that are or have applied to be a 501(c)(3) and have 10 or fewer full-time employees—including current Emma customers—are eligible to apply for Emma 25 in the future. Emma will begin accepting applications for next year's Emma 25 program in November.
