Emma’s Marketing United Conference Returns with an All-Star Lineup

Email marketing leader unites the smartest minds in the industry to share new ideas on the future of marketing

(NASHVILLE, Tenn. – March 21, 2016) - Emma a provider of best-in-class email marketing software and services, unveiled the speaker lineup for its Marketing United conference today. Marketing United takes place April 18-20 in downtown Nashville and features three days of in-depth sessions and inspiring keynotes from some of today’s leading brands and marketing influencers. The event brings marketers together to share ideas, learn from industry experts and network in one of America’s fastest growing cities.

Marketing United 2016 is geared toward marketers looking to discover fresh, creative strategies and practical takeaways that they can implement right away when they get back to the office. Keynote speakers include:

  • Jay Baer, author and president of Convince and Convert;
  • Scott Stratten, president of UnMarketing;
  • Ann Handley, best-selling author and chief content officer of MarketingProfs; and
  • Scott Harrison, founder and CEO of charity: water.

The full lineup also includes thought leaders from Tito’s Vodka, Mario Batali, Moz, Shopify, Litmus, Canyon Ranch, Sprout Social and more.

The success of last year’s inaugural Marketing United, a sold-out event attended by more than 600 digital marketing professionals from around the world, created a tremendous demand for Emma to bring the conference back in 2016.

“We were blown away by the response to the first Marketing United. It really became a rallying point for marketers who want to get better at what they do and who share our view that great marketing starts with being genuinely helpful to your customers,” said Clint Smith, co-founder and CEO of Emma. “Marketing United is a big part of our commitment to the broader marketing community and a natural extension of our belief that we do our best work when we do it together."

Marketing United 2016 also offers an opportunity for attendees to give back through an interactive, virtual reality experience with Emma customer charity: water, a nonprofit whose mission is to bring clean drinking water to every person on the planet.

“This speaker lineup is an absolute marketing dream team, and I can’t wait to see what happens when they all take the stage,” said Cynthia Price, vice president of marketing at Emma. “We’re also lucky to have a terrific venue like the Country Music Hall of Fame right in our backyard as the home for Marketing United. It’s a place that combines Nashville’s rich history and creative spirit with some of the most stunning views of the city.”

Marketing United kicks off on April 18 with a customer-only pre-conference at Emma’s headquarters followed by a welcome party for all conference attendees at the Country Music Hall of Fame.
