How to put the amp in camp.

One of the big events of the year is Summer Rock Camp, an intensive week-long day camp for girls ages 8-17. Campers learn an instrument, compose a song and perform their masterpiece at a sold-out showcase. Rock Camp uses Emma to give subscribers an easy way to view the schedule, check availability and submit applications. Last year, they completely sold out. When they sent a campaign announcing registration this year, they got 15 applications the first day.

Results that turn it up to 11

Like most non-profits, Rock Camp relies heavily on donations. Last year when they realized, on December 30, they were a wee short of their yearly goal, they sent a quick, compelling plea to their community. Hours later, they hit the goal. Cue up the AC/DC on that note. For those about to rock, we salute you.

Rock the marketing

Gone are the days when Rock Camp sent their email campaigns via Gmail. Now, they’re savvy marketers who embrace Emma's social sharing features, giving their fan base a way to spread the love through Twitter and Facebook. We’d say that’s smart promotion, which is pretty rock and roll to us.
