Tweet your way toward new business in 2014
It's the eighth day of our 12 Days of Email Tips, and we're branching out just a bit (Christmas tree pun halfway intended), to share some tips on how to include social media as part of your marketing strategy.
Don't go another year without a social media strategy
You've heard it time and time again: A social strategy is an important part of any marketing strategy. Your social channels are prime places to nurture brand champions. And champions are invaluable, not only because every brand loves having fans, but guess what? Those champions actually become adjunct members of your sales team.
- Eighty-five percent of fans of brands on Facebook recommend brands to others. So it's an important communication channel to share news, but it's also a quality lead generation source.
- In fact, social lead conversion rates are 13% higher than average lead conversion!
It's easy to be social (and we can help)
Just like email, social is a lucrative part of your overall marketing strategy. And our product developers are working on some cool ways to connect your email and social efforts, measure 'em and make 'em better. We'll share more in 2014, but in the meantime, resolve to spend more time building your social audience in the new year.
