Emma Social recap: The BBQ edition

A roundup of links we loved this week

Tomorrow is officially the first day of summer, which means it's prime BBQ and cookout season. But as a lover of language as well as consuming smoked and grilled meats in outdoor settings, I have to set the record straight. You're not "having a BBQ" if you're grilling burgers and hot dogs. That's a cookout. If you're smoking pork, ribs and brisket for a long period of time, then you're having a BBQ. I feel better now that's off my chest, and I highly encourage both activities this summer. I also encourage you to check out our favorite links from this week. They're delicious.
