Add style to your emails with stock images (they’re on us)
Emma customers get five images from Bigstock now through March 31
If you haven't peeked in Bigstock's library of over 12 million images that you can use in your email campaigns, you're missing out.
Maybe you were waiting for us to sweeten the deal? Alright, alright.
Yup, that's right. Now through March 31, you can purchase up to five stock images right from your Emma account, and we'll take care of the cost.
How it works
To claim the offer *and* find the perfect images for your next mailing (or the one after that – there's no pressure to use 'em right away), simply follow these steps:
- Log in and head to Campaigns
- Click create a new mailing in the drag & drop editor. (If you've been with Emma for a while, this is the "Your mailings: beta" editor that's in the second section of the page.)
- Click any image placeholder and in the window that appears, navigate to the stock images tab to start searching by keyword or phrase.
- When you find an image you like, purchase it, and we'll remove the cost from your next invoice.
- Repeat up to four more times by March 31st to take advantage of this stock image giveaway.
How to edit images
Remember that Bigstock has more than just photos in its library; you can also find illustrations and vector sheets to add visual appeal to your emails. That means you may want to crop just the part you want or edit an image before using it in your mailing.
Emma's new image editor, which is powered by Aviary, lets you crop, add filters and more. This video walks you through the steps:

I clicked on the offer to receive 5 stock images three times—every time it takes me to a new login screen—I am thrice logged in and simply cannot find the page where this offer is fulfilled.

Sorry for the confusion here, Rob. All you need to do it purchase five images from the “stock images” section of the drag & drop editor (instructions for finding that are in this post) and we’ll remove the cost from your next invoice. Hope this helps!

One more note, Rob. I just edited this post to add a little more clarity to the offer and how to claim it. Thanks for your feedback, and I hope you find some great images for your next email.

I am afraid I cannot figure this out, either. The “Get Started Now” link returns a 404 error.
Cannot locate any drag and drop editor under campaigns. Can you guide me?
Mary Foster | March 07, 2013
Hi Deb,
Sorry for the confusion! We’re emailing you directly. Stay tuned.
Cheers,
Mary

Usually I find MyEmma very intuitive. Not this time! How do I get these stock images? I can’t find the drag and drop feature referenced. And I keep getting sent to another log-in.

Hi Lynda and Kay,
Sorry for the trouble here. I have emailed you both to help lend a hand! We’re here and ready to help you put your free images to good use. Just keep an eye on your inbox.
Cheers!
Mary

I’m in the same boat - campaigns, then I choose a new mailing? I click on the image but don’t see anywhere to navigate to stock images. Help?
Emily Konouchi | March 13, 2013
Hi Freya, it looks like you’re using our classic editor, but if you head to Campaigns and scroll down below your saved mailings, you’ll see an option to create a new mailing in our new drag & drop editor. Once you’re in there and click an image placeholder, you’ll see the option to search for stock images. Just purchase any five you like, and we’ll remove the charges on your next invoice.

I haven’t been able to do this either. Went through all of these posts and still no success… Are there more explicit, step-by-step instructions? Thanks.
Emily Konouchi | March 14, 2013
Hi Vicki, I just updated the post with more step-ified instructions (great suggestion!), and I also emailed you with some specific steps for your account. Hope that helps!

I’ve gotten as far as Step #2. I’ve clicked on an image, but there is no “stock images tab”. Can you help please?
Emily Konouchi | March 22, 2013
Sure thing, Nicole. The stock images are only available in our new drag & drop editor (labeled “Your mailings: beta editor” in the second section of your main Campaigns page), so when you create a new mailing there you should see the stock images tab. Hope this helps!
Denise | March 25, 2013
I can not locate the stock image tab. Please provide instructions.
Thank you
Emily Konouchi | March 25, 2013
Hi Denise, I peeked in your account and it looks like you haven’t tried our new drag & drop editor yet, and that’s where you’ll see the stock images tab. Just head to Campaigns and scroll down to the second section of the page, called “Your mailings: beta editor.” Click to create a new mailing there for a whole new editing experience, plus access to those built-in stock images.
Anthony Mulkern | March 26, 2013
There is not “stock images” tab. You have clearly blown it with this promotion.
Emily Konouchi | March 26, 2013
Hey Tony, sounds like you’re having the same experience as some of the other commenters. The stock images are available in our new editor, which is labeled “Your mailings: beta editor” on your main Campaigns page (just scroll down and you’ll see it).
We rolled out this new editor last summer, but many of our customers who have used Emma for years (that’s you!) still have access to our classic editor. The new editor is chock full of new features, so I encourage you to give it a try. If you do, I’ll consider this promotion a win!

I’ve been trying to find a bar that has stock images as an option for the last 45 minutes and have been unsuccessful. Very frustrating and disappointing. Went to the new beta section, pulled up a template, clicked on the image box and the only option that comes up is to upload an image. Nothing about stock photography anywhere!

Hi Christine, I’m sorry for the trouble—it certainly sounds like you were in the right place! I’ll reach out directly to help (and make sure you get those 5 images on us).
