Sending yourself tests is the only way to ensure the real thing looks and reads just the way you want it to.

    Hi Ethan:
Thanks for the comment. The full PDF colors are a tad off. We’ve gone ahead and uploaded a handy link to the full 10 Days PDF here. http://myemma.com/blog/?page_id=80

    Cheers.

  3. Emma,

I just wanted to add something that is of equal importance with the current trends of email marketing these days.

One thing that you cannot afford to do with B2B email marketing, or any level of email marketing actually is to not use static opt-in thank you/landing pages.

One thing that I have noticed this year, more so than the previous years, is email marketers complaining about low confirmation rates.

I believe that this problem can be eassily overcome by using a dynamic subscription thank you page.
When email marketers use a static thank you page they cannot really show their subscribers exactly how to confirm their email address and add them to their whitelist.

Most marketers are showing a long list of instructions on how to add them to the subscribers whitelist for every email provider possible. When you make it hard for your subscribers to easily find the proper instructions chances are they are not going to do it.

Think about it, you already have the subscribers email address already, whether by means of a cookie, or the forward vars that most autoresponders provide.

With this information you can create a dynamic landing page that shows the subscriber exactly what they must do to confirm their email address and add you to their whitelist.

I know that right after building my whitelist wiz script and putting it to use, my email confirmation rates increased significantly!!

Now my lists are between 85 – 90% confirmed!

I feel that this is a must do action for anyone in the email marketing game.

What are your thoughts on this?
